The Registrar

I. Criteria for Eligibility

A student, who has finished grade 7 or grade 8 outside the PSHS System, may be allowed admission/entry to the PSHS provided slot is available and s/he fulfills the following requirements:

  1. Should be a Filipino citizen with no pending application as immigrant in any foreign country;
  2. Should belong to the upper 5% of his/her class and/or should have a grade of 85% and above in all subjects;
  3. S/he should have a character rating of at least VS (Very Satisfactory) or its equivalent; and
  4. Student's score in the test for lateral entry must meet the regional or national mean score in the PSHSS Achievement Tests (i.e. of the region where the receiving campus is located or the national mean score in teh case of Main Campus applicants) in each of the following three (3) subjects;
    1. Mathematics
    2. Science
    3. Communication Arts (English).

II. Procedure for Application

  1. Applicants must submit the following on or before April 17, 2017
    1. An accomplished application form including certification from parents of no pending application for immigration in any foreign country.
    2. Certification from the present school enrolled in regarding academic grades and character rating:
    3. Two (2) recent 1 x 1 ID pictures;
    4. A none–refundable processing fee of PhP 100.00; and
    5. A photocopy of the student's report card, with the original copy brought along for verification purposes.
  2. The PSHS Campus Registrar issues the Accreditation Examination Permit upon completion and evaluation of all requirements submitted by the applicant. The Permit shall clearly state the particulars regarding the schedule of the examination and the things to bring on examination day (See Annex C: Accreditation Examination Permit).
  3. The accreditation examination will be administered simultaneously on April 26* in the PSHS campuses where slots are available.
