With the vision of promoting gender equality in the levels of the playing field, Philippine Science High School – Cagayan Valley Campus (PSHS–CVC) hosted a joint Gender And Development (GAD) Activity in Baguio City on dates July 14–15.

Among the participants were teachers and staff from the different PSHS campuses namely Ilocos Region (IRC), Cagayan Valley (CVC), Cordillera Administrative Region (CARC) and the Office of the Executive Director (OED) itself.

In purpose of allowing the participants to finally be able to meet each other, PSHS–CVC along with the OED organized fellowship party and opening program in Brentwood Apartelle on the first day of the event.

On the other hand, the second day started and ended with UP Los BaƱos' Gender Director, Dr. Maria Helen F. Dayo's discussion in promotion of gender equality.

Among the topics tackled were the overviews on education, education and equality and educational programs for women who may or may not have encountered stereotypes.

As the highlight of the event, the third day served as another opportunity to create another interaction among the participants as all were given the chance to battle each other through sports.

PSHS–CVC dominated the sports fest by clinching the titles in basketball and volleyball. IRC dominated the chess tournament and CARC kegglers bagged the title in bowling.
