Grade 10 scholar Nicole Bettina Pascual claimed this school year’s presidency in the Student Supreme Government’s (SSG) election to lead the new set of officers.

“Youth leadership is important because it plays a vital role in developing character of teenager and it helps us to establish a network which would later help in making positive changes in the community,” said Pascual, the standard bearer of the CHABETS (Change Happens; Beyond Trustworthy Service) Party.

The newly elected officers are; President: Nicole Betina Pascual; Vice President: Beaver Sean Caraan; Secretary: Pere Maria Lucia Baricaua; Treasurer: Gracean Magundayao; Public Information Officer: Dianna Jean Daguro; Project Managers: Judel Lozada, Lynelle Ringor, Timothy Martin, Marinella Dennise Guzman.

“This year’s set of SSG officers will try to leave some mark, yung tatatak sa isip ng mga estudyante. We hope students and the faculty will have to look forward to new schemes in presenting our projects and services,” Heherson Tolentino, new SSG adviser, proudly stated.

He added that immersing students in the world of leadership will really empower them and give them the gate pass to come up with solutions to problems.

Tolentino also revealed that the new SSG administration aims to come up with constitution and by-laws to be ratified by all the students.#
