An alumnus of PSHS-CVC was the guest of honor in the Recognition Day of Grades 7-11 for School Year 2022-2023 held on September 08, 2023 at the Multipurpose Gymnasium.

Dr. Adrian Salvador M. de Vera of Batch 2003 delivered an inspiring message to the student awardees, which also expounded the program’s theme “Strive for Greatness.”

De Vera underscored the importance to be great, especially for the PSHS scholars, but he stressed that students should not only work hard for greatness.

“Don’t just be great. More importantly, be kind, be compassionate, be virtuous,” de Vera highlighted.

De Vera is currently a pediatrician, lecturer in medical board reviews, and author of books.

He also pursues his interest in photography in line with his medical expertise by being a creative photographer for newborns and infants.

The Recognition Day acknowledged the efforts of the Grade 7-11 students who excelled in their academics in the past school year.

The perpetual director’s listers and the students who won in competitions and earned distinctions were awarded with medals and certificates.#
