Mr. Jay–Ar Mapilis, the perennial coach for Valleygsahan, said this year’s competition is different from the previous years with the inclusion of the senior high school category and the introduction of new events like short film making and digital poster.

Since face–to–face mode is still not allowed, the organizers used online platforms such as Zoom, Discord, Messenger, and Google Meet to successfully conduct the events.

During the preparation stage, we encouraged our students to do their best in their respective competitions, to exhibit scholastic and artistic capabilities justly and fairly, and to always uphold the PSHS core values no matter what the circumstances are,” said Mr. Mapilis.

The trainers in the different contested events were: Mr. Joel Magday and Mr. Lyndon Lazaro (Quiz Bee), Mr. Jay–Ar Mapilis (debate competition), Mr. Russel Owen Viloria (short film making), Dr. Zenaida T. Manzano (pagsulat ng sanaysay), Mr. Bobby Argote (digital poster making), John Rich Manalo (traditional poster making), Ms. Lady Beatriz Addauan and Ms. Melahnie Agraam (extemporaneous speaking), Mr. Joenel Lacaden (dagliang talumpati).
