In compliance to the order from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), Philippine Science High School – Cagayan Valley Campus employees participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on March 11, 2021, 2:00 PM.

Earthquake drill is one of the regular activities conducted in the campus to intensify the awareness and preparedness of employees and students.

Due to health restrictions and health hazards posed by Covic-19 pandemic, and to ensure physical distancing, the other parts of the drill that require mass gathering such as evacuation and other physical interactions were not included.

The nationwide simultaneous drill is the initial activity of the four-part program of NDRRMC.

Other drills will be held on June, September, and November this year.

"Disasters can happen anytime, that is why we should take drills seriously. No matter who we are or how busy our schedule is, we should participate and not take it for granted, because earthquakes will spare no one. Lamang ang handa," emphasized Dr. Gallo, the Chief of the Student Services Division (SSD).

The conduct of the earthquake drill in the campus was facilitated by the Student Services Division.#
