In its quest for continual improvement and excellence, Philippine Science High School – Cagayan Valley Campus was formally recommended for ISO 9001:2015 certification after it passed two grueling stages of evaluation from external auditors.

With no minor and major conformities, Mr. Eugune Herradura, external auditor, declared that the school will be recommended for certification.

The accreditation covered the company’s scope in conformance with development and delivery of special science education program, support services functions which include; curriculum development and review, delivery of instruction; student support services, student affairs services and financial and administrative services.

Stage 1 was done last November 17, 2018 where the accrediting body AJA Registrars evaluated the readiness of the school for the next level.

“ISO is about assessing people, paper and processes,” said Mr. Erwin Quinto, team leader during the Stage 1 evaluation.

Technical expert Mr. Herradura emphasized during the Stage 2 that the evaluation is done not to look for errors or mistakes but to assess the conformance to statutory and regulatory requirements of the school.

Dr. Salvador B. Romo, campus director, lauded the concerted efforts of all the divisions in working toward the achievement of the certification.#
